In April 2023, Keanu Reeves pulled his girlfriend Alexandra Grant in close and gave her a big kiss on the lips at the 2023 MOCA Gala in Los Angeles. The pair were also pictured smiling together on the red carpet and holding hands.

Alexandra Grant said that she's really glad that she started dating Keanu Reeves later in life and described him as an inspiration for me.

Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant met in 2009 at a dinner party, and just two years later, Reeves and Grant published a book together titled "Ode to Happiness," which Reeves wrote and Grant illustrated.

In a 2020 interview Grant recalled what it was like to work on the project with Reeves and said their friends were the ones who pushed them to publish the book.

“The book was made as a surprise, by me, for Keanu (59 years old), as a private gift,” Grant said. “All our friends sitting in the room got the giggles when I gave it to him — they said, ‘Please publish it!’ So that’s how we got into publishing.”

Later on, rumors began surfacing that Reeves and Grant (50 years old) were dating one another, even though they never officially confirmed it themselves.

But recently, Grant talked openly and in detail about their relationship. She also talked about the benefits of forming a long-lasting relationship as a mature adult. “The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun. I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone,” she said. “It’s interdependent and independent in the best ways.”

As for Reeves’s recent reunion with his alternative rock band, Dogstar, Grant said, “I’m really proud. I am a huge Dogstar fan. I had the great pleasure of going to their first public show and because I’ve been listening to the latest album for quite some time, I was one of the only people in the audience who knew all the lyrics. That was really cool. It’s fun. It’s beyond fun.”

Alexandra Grant (born April 4, 1973) is an American visual artist who examines language and written texts through painting, drawing, sculpture, video, and other media. She uses language and exchanges with writers as a source for much of that work. Grant examines the process of writing and ideas based in linguistic theory as it connects to art and creates visual images inspired by text and collaborative group installations based on that process. She is based in Los Angeles.

Keanu Charles Reeves (born September 2, 1964) is a Canadian actor and musician. Born in Beirut and raised in Toronto, he made his acting debut in the Canadian television series Hangin In (1984), before making his feature film debut in Youngblood (1986). He had his breakthrough role in the science fiction comedy Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989), and he reprised his role in its sequels. He gained praise for playing a hustler in the independent drama My Own Private Idaho (1991) and established himself as an action hero with leading roles in Point Break (1991) and Speed (1994).

Following several box office failures, Reeves's performance in the horror film The Devil's Advocate (1997) was well received. Greater stardom came for playing Neo in the science fiction series The Matrix, beginning in 1999.

He played John Constantine in Constantine (2005) and starred in the romantic drama The Lake House (2006), the science fiction thriller The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008), and the crime thriller Street Kings (2008).

Following another commercially down period, Reeves made a successful comeback by playing the titular assassin in the John Wick film series, beginning in 2014. Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2022.

In addition to acting, Reeves has directed the film Man of Tai Chi (2013). He plays bass guitar for the band Dogstar and pursued other endeavours such as writing and philanthropy.
